Overwhelm
There are a few things I know about this
Mainly that it never seems to be the AMOUNT of stuff we have to do
More the way we feel about it.
I have days where I have tons of stuff to do, but I feel good and so it looks way more manageable and enjoyable
Days I have not much to do at all.. but feel a little off and so it all looks a little harder
It’s why as much as ACTION is important, if my only answer to
overwhelm is to only keep taking action
Then people tend to wake up with more and more actions to take
that overwhelm them..
So that’s why anytime I get asked about being overwhelmed and having ‘too
many thoughts’
I’ll always point you back to creating a more coherent state
A what? you say
A coherent state. Slow down, get your heart breathing on the go.. do some journaling
Stop fighting the content of your mind. It’s not the content, its the environment that content is in..
A stressed, incoherent one, like a storm at sea waves crashing in everywhere
Calm it down…
Slow it down
And things look a whole lot better, less overwhelming more manageable
And then go take some action
Because from there your action will be far more productive
