I’ve been working on a lot of stuff lately
Getting leaner 💪
Meditating deeper 😇
All in the aim to keep improving my reactions to certain things
In fact the whole Month in our Academy right now is based on FOCUS
Building resilience, Emotional intelligence and other great things so folks can better handle the turbulence that comes with making changes
And one thing that works well is
Adding stuff.
What do I mean?
Well bad habits need removing for sure
The trouble is if nothing replaces them we tend to be left with a void that gets filled back up again with that same old habit
Personal Development for most folks turns into Personal Deprivation
And I’ve made that mistake myself
So rather than trying to destroy so called bad habits I’m just focusing on building good ones
And something I find usually happens is the ‘bad’ ones usually go..
Because when we feel good we tend to not take crap decisions
It’s the same with emotions and thoughts
We label bad and good..
Trying to destroy what we don’t like instead of building what we would like
And all that happens is they get stronger as our focus on them grows.
So maybe this week have a think about what you can add to your day instead of what you can remove
What you can start doing instead of stop doing
